The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hythe Engineering for a Project Administrator to join our team during a phase of substantial growth. Hythe Engineering is a prominent player in the engineering sector, and this role has been created to provide vital support to the Project Management function.
Key Responsibilities:
- General support to workforce on logging and allocation of hours to live jobs
- Facilitate seamless communication among project teams, operations, and clients
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including status reports and meeting minutes
- Schedule and coordinate project-related events, ensuring smooth execution
- Maintain precise records of project-related documents
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project management tools and software
Desirable:
- Qualification in Administration or Project Management
- Proven experience in a project administrative role, preferably within an engineering organisation
- Knowledge of nuclear and defence industry regulations and processes
